My experience is mostly from the point of view of the consumer since I love travelling, meeting people from other countries and cultures ... and I love to treat myself to a stay in a Hotel when I get the chance and can afford to.

New 2011-2012 Evening Courses for the General Public. These are adult and children courses tailor-made to the specific interests of the group or language levels. If you would like to register for evening courses, kindly contact the Confucius Institute at the University of Malta. Courses are opened on condition that the required number of students apply for the courses

CI Academic Courses

Diploma in Chinese for academic year starting October 2012. This is a two-year, part-time evening course with subjects centering on the Chinese language and culture. The first course commenced in October 2010 and was offered by the Confucius Institute at the University of Malta, through the Department of Oriental Studies.  For any further information about the Diploma in Chinese, kindly contact the Department of Oriental Studies.

DegreePlus Courses for registered university students at the University of Malta. The first Chinese language class within the DegreePlus programme opened in 2009. The CI at the UoM will be offering Chinese language and cultural classes, namely, Chinese 1 and 2, Chinese Characters and Calligraphy and Contemporary China in February 2012.  If you would like to learn more about these courses, kindly contact DegreePlus Office.

Projected B.A. / B.A. (Hons) Programme in Chinese. The first B.A. programme in Chinese is planned for 2012.

Optional Study-Units. The CI at the UoM has offered two optional study-units last October, namely Chinese 1 and History and Civilisation of China, through the Department of Oriental Studies. Chinese 1 and Appreciation of Chinese Culture is on offer this February 2012.  For any information on the optional study-unit, kindly contact the Department of Oriental Studies.
