Interesting Article! I would like to see restaurants, museums and hotels in the Maltese Islands practicing such actions now and again. It might even help boost business and tourism. Just one way of practicing Corporate Social Responsibility. It is polite, socially reponsible customers who sustain business in the long term.

It's going to be very difficult to decide what to attend on Friday 7 th December. The consultation meeting is worth attending but I would not like to miss the Business Funding and Financial Awareness unit iether. Such a pity they are being held at the same time.

Emendi għad-Direttiva dwar l-Istudju tal-Impatt Ambjentali

 

 

Il-Malta-EU Steering and Action Committee (MEUSAC) flimkien mal-Awtorità ta’ Malta dwar l-Ambjent u l-Ippjanar (MEPA), ser jorganizzaw laqgħa ta’ konsultazzjoni dwar Proposta tal-Kummissjoni Ewropea għal Direttiva li temenda d-Dirett... ta’ dawk il-proġetti pubbliċi u privati li jista’ jkollhom effetti sinifikanti fuq l-ambjent, qabel ma dawn jiġu awtorizzati.

 

Il-proposta ser issaħħaħ il-kwalità tal-istudji dwar l-impatt ambjentali bil-għan li jinkiseb livell għoli tal-ambjent. Barra minn hekk, il-proposta ser ittejjeb il-koerenza u s-sinerġiji ta’ din il-politika ma’ liġijiet oħra tal-Unjoni Ewropea; kif ukoll tissimplifika l-proċeduri, bil-għan li jitnaqqsu l-piżijiet amministrattivi żejda.

Il-laqgħa ser tinżamm nhar il-Ġimgħa 7 ta’ Diċembru 2012, fl-10 ta’ filgħodu, fis-sala tad-Direttorat għas-Servizzi Edukattivi, Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir, Belt is-Sebħ, il-Furjana. Din il-laqgħa ser issir bil-Malti.
