Permalink Reply by Amand P.Veranneman-van Hoeck on February 16, 2011 at 12:18pm Yes I agree we should introduce a proper signage plan for all localities, maybe the Local councils could help Us to produce and give
the right information to the tourist from one village to the other one and also by colour like even direction to the Channel Ferries to
harbour ,to dive sites in Light Blue,Heritage and Historiscal & Culture sites in Light Brown,Walking pads and Eco sites green and others in different colours.Hello out there its time to take some seriuos actions as this signposting is really non excisting why not in every location inthe centre of the village some Totem with a symbol for beds/accomodation,fork&knive for restaurant etc....
There is so much to improve our image and our product and very little expence I would say money well spend!!!!!! And there is more to be done???????Action please!!!!

Yes one in particular, signage from Xlendi to Mgarr harbour. A tourist would be sent into Sannat and upps LOST.
Permalink Reply by Liberato Zammit (Albert) on April 4, 2012 at 11:21am I totally agree with the idea to introduce a holistic programme of signages. The first step however is to eliminate those disgusting private adverts which are frequently attached onto public signs....advertising puppies/kittens for sale/flats/rents and all other sorts of promotion one can imagine........Only in Malta.
Permalink Reply by Robert Camilleri on May 25, 2012 at 10:11am I absolutely agree with proper and more eye cathing signage , altghough its a small Island one can easily mislead his /her destination, even with the maltese visitor every now and then.
There are many places in Gozo that are really worth a visit , most of them, a lot of visitors when with their own cars never manage to get to these beautifull sites.
I am, and feel possitive that when all the roads are done these signs are put on, properly done and in place, its only a matter how long it takes.
