Comment by maria vella on April 12, 2011 at 7:32pm Since Carnival is held during Febuary it could attract a good number of tourists if well promoted. Febuary is not the peak season of tourism in Malta and we should take the opportunity to attract toursits through the promotion of the Carnival.

AIM OF THE PROGRAMME |
The nine new Business Model Canvas blocks offer a new approach towards building a Business Plan. This model describes the reasoning of how an individual or an organisation creates, delivers, and captures value, of any kind. The process of business model design is part of a business design and plan. It takes you along three stages:
Stage I The Elevator Pitch
Stage II The Business Model canvas
Stage III The one page Strategic Action Plan
In theory and practice the term business model is used for a broad range of informal and formal descriptions to represent core aspects of business, including purpose, offerings, strategies, infrastructure, organisational structures, trading practices, and operational processes and policies. Hence, it gives a complete picture of an organization from high-level perspective. It can also be extrapolated on a personal level to plan your growth, career and personal development.
Many times the start of a business or a career dictates a meticulous study and a well designed path that describes the plan or an orchestrated map of the vision or the point of destination. The essence of a model is that it defines the manner by which the enterprise delivers value to customers, entices customers to pay for value, and converts those payments to profit. The Business Model Canvas is the latest technique and most avant-garde approach towards business planning.
